The food was awesome, Mark made sure we were satisfied every minute we spent there. You definitely will not leave hungry. Excellent food and service is on the menu when you arrive at RC's. My family was delighted to be there, it was a wonderful environment with smiles on everyone's faces that passed us by. We will be back!

When you get your food before your drinks, and then you have to tell them what your drinks were in the first place, you have a problem. After waiting 10 minutes to order at the table with no service, I had to order at the bar. This was one of the reasons for the confusion amongst the employees there. The bartender doesn't know how to make a drink without spilling a lot of it. The patrons include people bringing in their own guitars and tambourines, which wind up driving away people from their patio. If it weren't for the poker players this would be a dead bar. Because it is so slow there is no excuse to the amount of problems this bar has aside from laziness and a lack of management. I officially have switched bars and now boycott RC's.

I've been a huge Stroud's fan for years; it's pretty much the only place I think of when I think fried chicken. RC's may just have supplanted it. It was really among the best fried chicken I've ever had - moist, juicy and crispy. Even the breast, which can sometimes get dry, and even the next day. Everything was delicious. The sides were fine: nothing special, but still good. The service was also just fine. It's the chicken that's the star - or four stars - of the show here.

I cannot wait to review place so I only visited this place once. Being a southern girl in the midwest, I feel very at home at this place. My husband and I went here for Saturday brunch. From the outside of the building, we did not expect the inside decor. It is very 80s italian restaurant decoration, which we love. Reason for not giving 5 stars, we did stand there with no one sitting us for 10 minutes and hearing some rude waitress offer bad service to other tables. Even though the restaurant was pretty slow for weekly brunch hour. Let's move onto the food, I think for a fried chicken place the brunch menu is pretty impressive. Food: My husband ordered the steak and eggs and I had the chicken and waffles. OMG, it was great. The steak was super tendered and smothered in breakfast white gravy. Unlike the other reviews, the breakfast potatoes were GREAT (not greasy, perfectly cooked and crispy outside/soft inside). The portions are great, big enough for a man and bites I stole. For the chicken and waffles, you had a choice of breast, leg, thigh, or 3 wings. Being a southern traditionalist, I picked the 3 wings option. The waffles were fluffy and smothered in whipped butter. YUM! The fried wings were super crispy but not overly breaded. The meat was moist and flavored. YUM! Overall experience: Our waitress was very nice and paid lots of attention to us. The food is great but if you are on a diet/healthy eater, please do not go there and complain about how greasy the food is. This place offers big portion and hearty food. I LOVE IT! You guys will be seeing us more often.

Not worth going out of your way. We were a party of 7. I had grilled chicken. Rubbery and tough. The cottage fries were over cooked. It was not there strength. Others had fried chicken. They said it was better than mine. The fries were not over cooked. I will not make a special trip. There are too many places, that is better to repeat that meal.

One of the Martin City trifecta (along with Jess & Jim's and the original Jack Stack) -- the Guy sometimes likes to hop in the car, drive south to MC, and then see which parking lot is the least full to decide on dinner. The pan-fried chicken is wonderful, tender and flavorful. I've had some pretty good beef dishes here too, including a meatloaf combo that was better than my grandma used to make. It's all homestyle comfort food, not exactly low-fat fare, although the salads are surprisingly good if you want to try to stick to healthier stuff. Service is quite friendly & cheerful. We like to sit in the bar & eat when there's a game on the teevee... it's quite roomy, but can get a bit boisterous.

Late Saturday night dinner. A huge amount of food and all was good. White meat fries chicken plate was awesome - fresh, hot, perfect amount of seasoning and crispy crust. Also served with salad, biscuit, green beans, gravy and a loaded baked potato. Not realizing how much was already coming with it, we ordered a waffle on the side that was the right amount of sweet. The pork tenderloin sandwich was enormous, seasoning was a little lacking but not bad. Tons of leftovers to take home. We sat in the lounge/bar side. The TVs let my husband watch March Madness. The music from the Back Door Lounge a floor above was a little distracting. Overall, we will be back for fried chicken.
